The Old Testament is used infrequently in our preaching today. Some preachers may neglect the Old Testament because they don't even preach biblical texts. They prefer to preach on topics that are more or less biblical. Others feel that the Old Testament is too far removed from contemporary life. A major obstacle has been the idea that Old Testament texts do not present the gospel clearly. Christian preachers may well be afraid to preach "synagogue sermons" or be legalistic or moralistic in their ministry from the pulpit. We invite you to know how the Book of Ezekiel testifies to the Gospel of Christ and how it can be an incredible blessing for the church and its ministers.
