GOSPEL OF JOHN

THE GOSPEL OF JOHN

This gospel is considered the most holy place of writing, in it we can appreciate the glory of God in Jesus Christ. In the OT the Holy of Holies was not a space that anyone could enter, only a high priest each year could do so in order to offer God atonement for Israel and receive forgiveness and direction from God. The Gospel of John has made this most holy place available to anyone who wants to come to God to know him in the person of Christ.

THIS GOSPEL BEARS TESTIMONY OF THE GLORY OF CHRIST.

.

The Gospel of John is not a cold testimony to the glory of Christ. Rather, it is a real testimony of a man who saw, felt and enjoyed the grace and love of the Lord. He wants to make known to us the greatness of his love and his infinite mercy, which he demonstrated when he left his throne of glory for us with the purpose of redeeming us. John wants us to share his joy, so that our joy will be complete.

.

“Jesus also did many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book. But these have been written so that you may believe (Continue to Believe) that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and so that by believing, have (continue to have) life in his name. " (John 20: 30–31, KJV)
