The doctrines of Grace:

Four hundred years ago the Protestant Reformation allowed a new discovery of the Bible and its revolutionary doctrines. Seven of these doctrines conflicted with teachings of the time, because they all lead to the conclusion that salvation is by grace alone, without any human contribution. For this reason, Christians today know them as "The Doctrines of Grace."

The controversy over the Doctrines of Grace is not over. They are so opposed to human pride that carnal reason always rebels against them. The sinful human nature claims to be the master of its own destiny, fully capable of contributing to its own salvation.

We can form an acrostic with the phrase YES JESUS in which each

letter is the first of a doctrine of grace. A short description

of each doctrine is in this document:
